i am an architect by training . one design path of how to add more building on sites with historic/landmark structures is to "frame" the little jewel with a building that brides , cantilevers or floats an upside down "U" with airspace , breathing room above and to the sides. don't ask me to locate but i've seen more than a few small roman temples framed and set off by piece of cleanline contemporary built "frame" on 2 sides and above with 3-5 m of space that just sets the little momento of roma ablaze

i lived in santa fe new mexico in the USA before i immigrated to Canada. i have 6 pieces os quite good artists of various genre and style. this group have one thing in common: custom hand crafted frames. the framer, Tres (z) Mocha, is such an artist that the Museum of New Mexico did a show once and hung a couple dozen of her frames in one of the galleries. they were just the empty frames. cool

1970's so had more story and scenery than sex. all the down time between vignettes made the physical connecting more memorable. that's what i find so fascinating about your work and the frames. to me a gay man, your films are as much or more exciting than similar time frames that have to float on non stop sex.
